I was running an older version for months, it would have the pop-up at startup saying there's a new version available. It always suggests that I download the new version whenever it becomes available when my computer starts up, but I just close the pop-up and it works fine. ![]() It never stops working for me, not sure what you're doing wrong. Sorry for the rant but I had to let it out, anyone feel the same or am I just crazy?   I just keep afterburner running and shown on my keyboard to monitor my pc, it just came up saying it needed to be updated which is what brought this on. I give an update a shot and it breaks something that I then have to spend time to fix. I've had countless experiences where I have had either a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop running perfectly with what I had, granted with outdated software. I don't want to update anything and present potential problems with a new version. If any of my software performs as I expect with the features I need and has no problems. ![]() I could deal with all that I suppose but I'm a firm believer in if it isn't broke don't fix it when it comes to software. Not being able to launch the program when the devs decide this is a good time for it to stop working, then having to go to their site, download the new version, install it and wait another couple months before it happens again. Now in it of itself doesn't seem bad, but not having an option to just update the program within itself is annoying. The fact the program expires and you have to download and install a new version every so often. But there is one huge gripe and I was curious if it bugged anyone else. ![]() So I love the program and been using it for a few years.
